In this six-week class instructor Patricia Conti will teach yoga postures to strengthen your muscles, increase your flexibility, balance, and range of motion.  You will learn breathing techniques to reduce stress and help you maintain deeper levels of relaxation throughout your day.  Wear loose comfortable clothing and bring an exercise/yoga mat or large towel and a small pillow.

Cheerleaders will be separated by age group. Groups of 20 Max. Masks are required. Hand sanitizer will be available.

Sales will occur in front yards, garages and on sidewalks throughout the town. A uniquely Watertown/Oakville event involving citizens, businesses, churches, civic groups, associations, Town leaders, neighbors and visitors building community and identity. Look for the “original yellow signs” by Watertown Parks & Recreation. The intent is that while cleaning out in the Spring everyone not toss everything but instead offer an opportunity to turn trash into treasure.All this to help build community through a shared experience and other celebrations one weekend in the Spring. All participants who register will receive the following benefits: Registrant street address will be listed on the back of the master map available for the Tag Sale. Maps will be located at Gayle’s Farm Shoppe, Adams Supermarket, Watertown Meat Center, Tony’s Seafood, LaBonnes Market and the Parks & Recreation Department. We will also be advertising registered sellers in the Waterbury Republican. We posted a checklist that provides recommendations in accordance with Centers for Disease Control recommendations on our website: keep a six-foot social distance between guests, limit the number of attendees and encourage wearing masks where distancing isn’t possible.In case there is inclement weather on Saturday we will move the Tag Sale to Sunday. Call the Info-Line at (860)945-5272 for any updates.

Weekend Adventures is an engaging, two day program, which inspires youth to explore, learn, gather and create. Day one will be spent in the great outdoors. Participants will take a guided walk/hike, get in on a fun and challenging scavenger hunt and will learn fun facts about nature. Then they will create one of a kind keepsakes using treasures found.

It’s time for some fun! The Watertown Parks & Recreation provides a venue to connect kids ages 13-17 who share an interest in gaming. Flash Point, Pandemic, Forbidden Island, 7 Wonders and Warhammer Quest are some of the tabletop games that will be played. In many of these games you have to work together as a team to beat the board. As you will see, these games are not the old fashioned games like monopoly, these games are part of the board game revolution and/or a little more sophisticated. Come with your friends and play with each other or make new friendships while sparking your imagination. See you there and good luck! Class is limited to 12 kids/per session.

In this six-week class instructor Patricia Conti will teach yoga postures to strengthen your muscles, increase your flexibility, balance, and range of motion.  You will learn breathing techniques to reduce stress and help you maintain deeper levels of relaxation throughout your day.  Wear loose comfortable clothing and bring an exercise/yoga mat or large towel and a small pillow.
