9:30 AM - 10:30 AM    Safe at Home Gentle Chair Yoga - Summer 1
In this gentle chair yoga class, we use the mat and the chair when performing our asanas (poses), using our breath to unite our mind and bodies. We do not sit or lie on the mat, so it is easy to incorporate this kind of yoga into your daily activities. This class is structured as most yoga classes are: a brief centering meditation, followed by warm ups and then asanas, or yoga poses, arranged for the use of the chair. We practice fall prevention by increasing strength, flexibility and balance. We close the class with a short, guided meditation that helps integrate all we do in class. Instructor: Fran Harmeyer, OTR/L and 200 hr Certified Yoga Instructor

Need to get into shape or drop a few pounds? Tired of regular boring cardio? Then join Personal Trainer/Martial Arts Sensei Sean Thiel from Balance Martial Arts and Fitness in Cardio Karate! Get your heart rate up while toning muscle and learning to kick butt to some high energy music! It’s like Zumba, but with punches and kicks! Please wear proper workout clothes.

6:00 PM - 8:00 PM    Babysitting Course - Summer 1
American Heart Association Babysitting Course for any youth 10 years old and older. It will offer students the necessary tools to become a reliable and safe babysitter.  Students will learn basic childcare, safety precautions, child development, appropriate toys and more. Students will receive a handbook with all the information needed to serve as a reference. Participants must attend both nights and will have to meet requirements of the course to receive certification. At the conclusion of the babysitting classes there will be a course on Infant/Child CPR and Family & Friend First Aid. This class is limited to 10 people so register early! This art class is for beginners. Grades K-2 will learn early art skills. Grades 3-5 will work on watercolor skills/ blending colors using a color wheel/two-point perspective with a final project. All supplies included - students may purchase their own supplies. A list will be provided with recommendations. Instructor: Sandie Genua
 
6:00 PM - 7:00 PM    Kids Rise Up Family Yoga - Session 2
Kids Rise Up Family Yoga classes are a fun and healthy way to spend quality time together. Kids and their families (all ages welcome) will engage in yoga poses, games, music, meditation, and other fun activities. No yoga experience required.

Water color/ acrylics/ basic calligraphy. Each week we’ll work on a new skill building up for a final project. Session 1: Watercolor. Session 2: Acrylics. Session 3: Basic Calligraphy Skills. Some supplies included. Students will be required to purchase some supplies to use at home for practice or future projects (list will be supplied at the first class).
