This is a traditional karate program for ages 7 to adult, the style of Karate we study is Tang Soo Do, a Korean based martial art. Karate techniques incorporated with essential motor skills for 3-4 year old’s. The curriculum includes balance, memory, team work, coordination, focus, and other age specific skills training. Often young children want to do what the big kids do but don’t have the essential motor skills. This class teaches those while building self-esteem and respect for self and others. This class teaches those while building self-esteem and respect for self and others through the art of Cheezic Tang Soo Do.

This course combines the American Heart Association First Aid and Heart Saver CPR with AED for Adults, Infants and Children. Participants learn first aid basics and show proficiency in skills. No written test is required. Participants receive a two-year certification card. This class meets the requirements for anyone needed to be trained in Adult First Aid. The CPR course teaches what to do in a life-threatening emergency. These emergencies include not breathing, choking and cardiac arrest (heart stopping) which occurs mostly in or near home. Sudden infant death syndrome and prevention of injuries and choking in infants and children will be discussed. With the knowledge and skills in this course participants will learn the warning signs of heart attack, stroke, cardiac arrest choking and breathing difficulties; CPR and relief of choking for adults, children and infants. This course has a skills exam and no written test. Participants will receive an AHA Heart Saver two-year certification card. Text purchase is not necessary if recertifying. Karate techniques incorporated with essential motor skills for 3&4 year olds. The curriculum includes balance, memory, team work, coordination, focus, and other age specific skills training. Often young children want to do what the big kids do but don’t have the essential motor skills. This class teaches those while building self-esteem and respect for self and others. This class teaches those while building self-esteem and respect for self and others through the art of Cheezic Tang Soo Do.
 
5:15 PM - 6:15 PM    Karate Kickin' Kids - Summer - Summer 1
New Kids Only - Dynamic karate techniques taught with an emphasis on kicks, punches, blocks, coordination, patterns of movement, and bullying prevention. Situational self-defense will be taught so our youngest can avoid conflict.  This class teaches the components listed while building self-esteem and respect for self and others through the art of Cheezic Tang Soo Do.Students with Belts Only - This class is for students who have attended a belt graduation and have an existing belt.  It is designed to have students develop into the more structured Cheezic Tang Soo Do karate program once they turn 7 years old.

This is a traditional karate program for ages 7 to adult, the style of Karate we study is Tang Soo Do, a Korean based martial art. In addition to learning techniques, board breaking, forms and exercise patterns, the class focuses on self-esteem, character building, respect for self and others, proper approaches to competition and general life skills for today’s child.  Parents are encouraged to begin training at the same time as their child-great family activity!  Participants should wear loose fitting clothing, such as sweat pants and t-shirts.
