Karate for Beginners (Ages 7-Adult) - W/S - Both Days This is a traditional karate program for ages 7 to adult, the style of Karate we study is Tang Soo Do, a Korean based martial art. In addition to learning techniques, board breaking, forms and exercise patterns, the class focuses on self-esteem, character building, respect for self and others, proper approaches to competition and general life skills for today’s child. Parents are encouraged to begin training at the same time as their child-great family activity! Participants should wear loose fitting clothing, such as sweat pants and t-shirts. Karate Little Ninjas - W/S - Session 1 Karate techniques incorporated with essential motor skills for 3-4 year old’s. The curriculum includes balance, memory, team work, coordination, focus, and other age specific skills training. Often young children want to do what the big kids do but don’t have the essential motor skills. This class teaches those while building self-esteem and respect for self and others. This class teaches those while building self-esteem and respect for self and others through the art of Cheezic Tang Soo Do.

Sewing Class - Session 2 This class is open to all students who are interested in learning to sew, enhance their skills, create sewing projects and more. Students must provide: sewing machine, scissors, threads and needle. Depending on your chosen project, fabric will be required. fabric for samples to practice on will be supplied. Karate Little Ninjas - W/S - Session 1 Karate techniques incorporated with essential motor skills for 3-4 year old’s. The curriculum includes balance, memory, team work, coordination, focus, and other age specific skills training. Often young children want to do what the big kids do but don’t have the essential motor skills. This class teaches those while building self-esteem and respect for self and others. Aquatics - Red Cross Lifeguarding Course & ReCert - ReCert Class Come learn how to be a lifeguard. This course is meant for strong swimmers who are willing to be dedicated to protecting the lives of others. Participants who pass the course will receive certificates for Life guarding, CPR for the Professional Rescuer & AED. First Aid training is also included in the lifeguarding course. This course will not include Waterfront Lifeguarding. All certifications are for two years. You must commit to attend every date.The Lifeguard Recertification Course is designed for currently certified lifeguards whose certifications are about to expire. This course reviews and tests the skills and knowledge required to maintain Red Cross Lifeguard, CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, and First Aid certifications. Participants will practice water rescues, CPR, AED use, and first aid response before completing written and in-water skill assessments. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a 2-year American Red Cross Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
