BACK TO SCHOOL PENCIL HUNT

Kick off the new school year with a little friendly competition and a lot of fun! Children entering Pre-K through 3rd grade are invited to join us on the front field at John Trumbull Primary School for our exciting Back to School Pencil Hunt.
Kids will be grouped by grade level for timed hunts, giving everyone a chance to dash, gather pencils, and fill their collection. Two children from each age group who collect the most pencils will
win a backpack filled with school supplies.

Event Date: Wednesday, August 19, 2026
Hunt Times by Grade:
Pre-K: 2:00 PM – 2:15 PM
Kindergarten–1st Grade: 2:30 PM – 2:45 PM
2nd–3rd Grade: 3:00 PM – 3:15 PM
Registration: $5.00 per child
Day-of registration will also be available
Residents and non-residents are welcome
