Come learn how to be a lifeguard. This course is meant for strong swimmers who are willing to be dedicated to protecting the lives of others. Participants who pass the course will receive certificates for Life guarding, CPR for the Professional Rescuer & AED. First Aid training is also included in the lifeguarding course. This course will not include Waterfront Lifeguarding. All certifications are for two years. You must commit to attend every date.
The Lifeguard Recertification Course is designed for currently certified lifeguards whose certifications are about to expire. This course reviews and tests the skills and knowledge required to maintain Red Cross Lifeguard, CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, and First Aid certifications. Participants will practice water rescues, CPR, AED use, and first aid response before completing written and in-water skill assessments. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a 2-year American Red Cross Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
