Exploring Cybersecurity Careers

This class is for anyone interested in a career in cybersecurity, or for anyone interested in gaining experience or certification in cybersecurity. Class sessions will be interactive, and there will be hands on activities to help you learn. All class materials will be offered for free so that you can refer back to what you learned. NOTE: Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian, but the second person may attend the course for free. Instructor: Bryan Holmes
The four sessions will cover:
- Session 1 - Basic introduction to cybersecurity, and a survey of cybersecurity careers.
- Session 2 – How to get experience in cybersecurity, and how to get certified in cybersecurity.
- Session 3 – Guest speaker(s) from cybersecurity careers (TBD).
- Session 4 – Forming a plan to become a cybersecurity professional.
