Introduction to Cybersecurity

This class introduces the basic concepts of cybersecurity to you, and it provides you with the basic tools to be as cybersecure as possible. Class sessions will be interactive, and there will be hands on activities to help you learn. All class materials will be offered for free so that you can refer back to what you learned.
 
The three sessions will cover:
  • Basic introduction on how computers and networks work and on what data is, how it is used, and how to protect it.
  • Basic cyber hygiene, and the do’s and don’ts to navigate the internet securely.
  • How to be cyber secure at home and in public places.
