T'ai Chi Chuan is an exercise system that that uses slow smooth body movements to achieve a state of relaxation for both body and mind. As a system of physical exercise used to improve and maintain health, T'ai Chi can be helpful in achieving longevity and quality of life. Each weekly session consists of: Meditation - to quiet the mind, Qigong Warm Ups- to relax and strengthen the body and T'ai Chi forms practice - to improve health. Continued practice improves balance & coordination and strengthens major muscle groups, in addition to increasing flexibility of joints. It has been clinically shown to reduce stress and lower blood pressure, and supports the functions of the immune system. Classes will be facilitated by a Certified Health Preservation Association
